Please answer :( I want my ex back so badly!?

ok we broke up 4 months ago..It was a mutual decision as we were both stressed and busy with exams and tiredness and not seeing each other enough meant we were better off without each other...after the break up we had 2 huge fights and i was left heartbroken but last week he text me wishing me luck in the exams and we've spoken through texting twice being civil to each other..so obviously now we're civil again and friends i suppose! But the thing is now i realise i like him again..i love him ..Im not going to ask him back or anything ..i want things to move slowly,i llove him and care about him and miss him....PLEASE give me some strategies/techniques that will win him back in time...anything that has worked for you or that you think will work...also any guys out there, from a guys point of view ,what could an ex do to win your heart again? <.3 Thank you,Rosie
