Windows XP wont boot?

Windows XP won't boot. When I turn it on the bios comes up and does its thing then the screen goes blank, and thats it. The harddrive activity light flashes once when it goes fromt he bios screen to the blank screen and thats it!. This is on my laptop so I can't do any sort of boot with a floppy disk. I can't boot in safe-mode either! When I try safe mode its starts listing all the files its loading as usual but doesn't complete, it stops at \WINDOWNSystem32\DRIVERS\WudfPf.sys. So thats it... HELP!!!!!
